Sunday June 20th 2010make it your day…..

A Festival with the sights snd sounds of the seaside

Here are details of some of the fantastic acts you can see in 2010!

Donkey rides in Cricklade!
Yes, this year you will be able to have a ride on the back of a donkey without even leaving Cricklade. You will be able to find them on the beach (St. Sampsons school field!). Come and see these beautiful creatures and say hello! Don’t miss the Punch and Judy shows there either!
Mr Whippy
Mr Whippy and the Conettes
A fantastic seaside act! Full of music dance and fun, you will find them at the bottom of the High Street. This promises to be one of the highlights of this years Festival.
Jelly Roller
We guarantee you will not have an act like this before. See Captain Horatio Crumbucket tackling some tricky Hawain melodies on his Ukelele while a deep sea diver dances the Hula Hula. This unique character will be entertaining everybody up and down the High Street through out the day. We are sure you are going to love him!
Jelly Roller
Punch and Judy Punch and Judy
It wouldnt be a day at the seaside without Punch and Judy! This is something for all children, young and old, to enjoy. A real family favourite! There will be shows on the school field throughout the day. See the Events Schedule for more details.
Cricklade Band
First to walk down the promenade will be our very own Cricklade Band. What a great sound they make! They’ll also been playing with the Just Jive dancers on the main stage. Should be fun! Check out their website at www.thecrickladeband.co.uk.
Just Jive!
They were here last year and we just had to have them back! Come and check out the good time music and just try to keep your feet still…. They’ll be on the main stage. Check out their website at www.justjive.com.
Mystery Act!
You may remember seeing this eccentric duo flying down the High Street in their hot air balloon last year. Well this year they’ll be strolling down the Prom-Prom-Prom in Victorian bathing costumes enjoying their summer holiday at Cricklade-by-the-Sea. They’ll have you in stitches with their silly antics – but beware, they are completely bonkers!
Mr Ray’s Jazz Band
Mr Ray’s Jazz Band will be providing happy, foot tapping and entertaining jazz including many of your favourite melodies. They’ll be performing on the main stage on the Promenade so don’t hesitate to shout out for your favourite tune…
The Swimmers
These bathing bellles have arrived in Cricklade directly from the 1920s… They’ll be on the Promenade in their striped bathing huts. A gloriously absurd tribute to the golden age of swimming….!
Tony M
As long as there is a Tony M in Cricklade, we’ll keep putting the festival on! He’s been there every year so far and we love him! As always Tony will be providing a lot of noise and fun on the stage towards the end of the day.
Lord Geoffrey
Another of our Festival Favourites! A fantastic balloon modeller who can make just about anything! Don’t miss him!
Why not pop into the Club and have a flutter on the Bingo! As much a part of the British holiday experience as Fish and Chips and Kiss-Me-Quick Hats! All proceeds have been kindly donated to the running costs of the festival, so many thanks to Sue at the Club!

Put Sunday June 20th in your diary, as we are planning a fantastic day!
