Cricklade Town Council – Cricklade in Bloom Competition 2010

Cricklade Town Council again ran a “Cricklade in Bloom” Competition 2010.

The certificates will be presented at the Community and Leisure meeting on Tuesday 7th. September.

The Children’s Container competition showed some very innovative and created ideas from the youth of Cricklade.

First Place – Lucinda Arthurs with a hamper named “Lizzie and Petunia go on a picnic.

Second Place Harry and Jasper Hughes with a display in a World War II Baby’s Gas Mask entitled “Help our Heroes”

Best Hanging Basket  First  ( Mr and Mrs E Collier); Second  (Mr and Mrs A Pinnock): Highly Commended  (Mrs j. Nichols).

Best Container First: ( Mr and Mrs A Pinnock): Second: (Mr and Mrs Young): Highly Commended: ( Mr and Mrs Smith).

Best Front Garden. First (Mrs G. Williams): Second: Aclean  (Mr Cuss): Highly Commended: (Mr and Mrs Charles).  

Best Florally Decorated Public House : Gold: White Hart Hotel (Mr and Mrs J Flynn ): Silver: The Old Bear (Mr. and Mrs. s Cleverly);Bronze : Red Lion Inn (Mr. T Gee).

Best Florally Decorated Shops: Gold Michael Hart & Son (Mr M Hart); Silver: Pure (Mrs J Harris); Bronze; The Drum School (Mr. O Tanner)

Outstanding Areas 42-45 Stockham Close, Parsonage Farm and 57 and 58 Deansfield.

Overall Winner for Traders Premises is “The White Hart Hotel”
