Town Centre Car Park ConsultationCricklade Town Councillors have agreed that local people should have the opportunity to decide on whether the Town Council should apply for a loan to bridge the gap between funding already put aside for a much-needed Town Centre Car park and the overall cost of building it.A leaflet is being delivered to every household in the town, setting out the likely costs to local council tax payers. The car park will offer more parking spaces for residents and visitors, improve the area helping shops and businesses thrive, boost tourism and ease traffic congestion caused by double and illegal parking often paralysing the High Street. The consultation will run between 1 November and 10 December 2010.
