Community Area View – Wootton Bassett and Cricklade

A total of 163 responses were received, which is 5% of the total received responses. Of these responses 140 (4%) were from the Wootton Bassett area and 23 (1%) from the Cricklade area. These then split into 71% were completed questionnaires from Wootton Bassett, with 100% from Cricklade and 29% were letters or emails. This response by letters and emails was the highest within a community area.

Of the total responses received 46% were male, which is the highest male response from any community area and 51% were female and 4% considered themselves to have a disability. A total of 3% of respondents were under the age of 18, 1% were aged 18 to 24, 5% were aged 25 to 34, 29% were aged 35 to 44, 23% were aged 45 to 54, 14% were aged 55 to 64, 18% were aged 65 to 74 and 5% were aged 75 and over.

Of the respondents 26% from Wootton Bassett and 17% from Cricklade indicated an interest in being involved or running their leisure centre. A total of 71% of respondents visited a leisure centre weekly, with 22% daily, 3% monthly, 3% less often and 2% have never used a leisure centre.
