Via Roma is a September sportive highlight at Cricklade Cycling Festival 2013

British Cycling announced three cycling events taking place in September, following the success of the first Kermesse cycle race in 2012. All three events are run in association with Cricklade Town Council, Cricklade Leisure Centre and Cricklade Business Association.

Childrens Go RideSunday 15th. September (morning).
Run by professional coaches from the British Cycling Federation, this event involve some basic bike handling advice as well as some fun competitions.
Participants from 6 to 16 appropriate clothing and crash helmets required.
Via Roma Sportive – Sunday 29th September.
a ‘Sportive’ is a non-competitive fun cycling event open to all to participitate in. This first event for Cricklade will start and finish at the Leisure Centre and offers the option of two routes around the Cotswold Hills and villages to the north of the town. The first “The Stroller” is 40 miles in length and the second “The Challenger is 80 miles. There will be mechanical back up available and feed stations on both routes.
