The Cricklade Health Walking Group celebrated their 2nd. anniversary by a walk through Waylands, Fairfield Meadow, Millenium woods , the Thames Path and over Eysey Bridge.
Returning to the United Church for refreshments.
A few members had baked some cakes for all and the four Walk Leaders were presented each with a special large jam/cream cake in appreciation of their voluntary efforts.
Every Friday at 9.30am, approx. 16 – 25 members meet at Cricklade Town Council Offices to undertake a Health Walk. Everyone is welcome, providing you are independently mobile and able to meet the demands of the walk. It’s free and fun. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the walks. Each walk is planned and supervised by a trained Walk Leader and take about an hour. This is an opportunity to explore different areas of Cricklade and surrounding areas. Most of the walks do not include styles only kissing gates. The walkers retire to the United Church or Cricklade Leisure Centre for refreshing tea/coffee and a chat.
Consider Joining the Group for free. Make new friends and discover new places. Just turn up at Cricklade Town Council Offices on Friday at 9.30 am or contact Rosie Golding 07917 599964 firstname.lastname@example.org
