Festive ‘WHAT’S ON’ from the CRICKLADE BAND

logo302
We have our Christmas Present at the The Club at Cricklade on Sunday 22 December at 7.30pm.
Following the success of last year, we’re keeping the cosiness of our Christmas Present format, lots of people said it was just like going to a Christmas party! There will of course be all the carols and Christmas music you’d expect to join in with, and again our BandAcademy will also be taking an important part.
We’ll have seasonal refreshments, and a raffle kindly supported by Cricklade traders and businesses. You’ll also have the bar available throughout the show.
CD_POSTER_lge‘Playtime’ – the band’s new CD will also be available. Just £8, the CD shows us off with a mix of music in our unique ‘brass big-band’ style and what a good Christmas present choice!

Entry this year is by ticket (although you might be able to get in on the night) and still just a fiver – tickets will be available in the High Street, keep an eye on the posters.

The band is all geared-up as usual for a busy festive season. Our December diary has details of about 15 occasions between the 6th and Christmas morning when we’ll all be out and about playing all the familiar carols and Christmas music. We’ll be touring the streets of Cricklade, Purton, Ashton Keynes and Latton. Your kind donations during our traditional door-to-door collections will, in addition to the band itself, benefit Prospect Foundation, our local hospice whose care seems to involve most families in one way or other.
We usually do it in music but, from everyone in The Cricklade Band – ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’.
