St Sampson’s Infant School in Cricklade is set to close.

Cricklade St Sampson’s Junior School governing body met on Tuesday 10th. and the infant school governing body on Wednesday 11th. December 2013 and both bodies voted unanimously to go to consultation on the motion for St Sampson’s Infant School to close and St Sampson’s CE Junior School to expand to become St Sampson’s CE Primary School, and the Junior School Governing Body also voted unanimously to go to consultation to expand the Junior School to form the new St Sampson’s CE Primary School.

 In this letter it is state that We ( The governors ) have now started working with Wiltshire Council and the Diocese of Bristol to make this procedure as quick as possible, and we envisage that the consultation process will start in the New Year. Please be assured that all stakeholders including parents, staff and the local community will be invited to take part in the consultation process which will include public meetings for views and questions to be raised.
