Cricklade Lights up for Christmas on Saturday December 7th.

Cricklade Community Lights Team in conjunction with Cricklade Scouts will be holding the annual Christmas Lights switch on and Carol Service on Saturday 7th. December in the High Street starting at 5.30 pm.

A Very Cricklade Christmas on Saturday 1st. December 2012 from 6.30pm. in the High Street – Father Christmas is arriving.

Father Christmas will be arriving in Cricklade on Saturday December 1st after the Switching on the Lights, singing with the 4/4 Community Choir and Cricklade’s own Silver Band. There will be lots of fun and festivities.

Santa begins his visit to Cricklade on the High Street on Saturday 3rd. December 2011 at 6.30pm.

Message from the Cricklade Christmas Lights Team

Everyone is invited for an evening of light and celebration to mark the approach of Christmas on the High Street on Saturday December 3rd at 6.30pm. There will be a chance to sing carols and to enjoy the music of our own Silver Town Band. The theme for the evening will have a Victorian Christmas theme and everyone is invited to dress up. There will be prizes for the best themed stall which organisations can pay £5.00 .
A lucky young person will have the opportunity to switch on the Cricklade Christmas Lights.
A competition called ‘Spot the Snowman’ in the week commencing 25th. November, entry forms from Baileys News. Snowmen can be found at various locations on the High Street.
Children will be able to visit Father Christmas for a donation of 50p to help to keep the lights on in the future.
There will be an opportunity to enjoy all the fun, friendship and celebration of this time of year.

Calling All Cricklade Children

Write a letter to Santa and Post it in his letter box at the Jenner Hall from Sunday 4th December.
Help keep the spirit of Christmas alive with a personalised reply from Santa to your child.

In order to create a personal effect, Santa  will require the following information for his reply:-
Your child’s name and are a Boy or Girl
What they have requested for Christmas
The address where they will be on Christmas Eve
and the address where Santa can deliver the letter.
All replies will be delivered/posted between the 4th and the 20th December.

Santa’s Grotto

Come to meet Santa in Cricklade in the Jenner Hall Grotto on
Saturday 10th. & Sunday 11th. December from 2pm to 6pm
Saturday 17th. & Sunday 18th. December 2pm to 6pm

Turn up on the day – £2.50 per child which includes a Special Present.
Bring a camera and take a photo with Santa.
