 CrickladeFTOT04Cricklade is a Saxon Town situated on the banks of the River Thames on the northern border of Wiltshire between Swindon and Cirencester close to the Roman Ermine Road.
The “Cricklade Bugle” has been supported by many Organisations – Talk about local website www/talkaboutlocal.org  /
@TalkAboutLocal  and individuals -@getgood @willperrin @mike_rawlins @Media Trust @hill_wheeler @CrickladeLeis  @CrickladeTC . And all Cricklade Clubs and followers of the site and twitter. Thank you again for your support.
Currently the Website is hosted on WordPress.com but thanks to an offer of www.bloggersworld.co.uk it is moving to self-hosting using WordPress.org . This may take a little time to develop the site.
Media Trust (www.mediatrust.org ) have sent an invitation to apply to join their our Local360 Network  interested in becoming a beacon. The intention is to apply.The future looks good.

Cricklade Lights up for Christmas on Saturday December 7th.

Cricklade Community Lights Team in conjunction with Cricklade Scouts will be holding the annual Christmas Lights switch on and Carol Service on Saturday 7th. December in the High Street starting at 5.30 pm.

The 437(T) Sqdn, Royal Canadian Air Force attends the Cricklade Royal British Legion Remembrance Day Parade.

RBL90logo1The Cricklade Branch of the Royal British Legion  are holding their Annual Parade and Remembrance Parade and Service this weekend. The 437(T) Sqdn, Royal Canadian Air Force, (formed at Blakehill Farm in 1944)  will join with the Cricklade Royal British Legion, Crickladelogo302 Band, Civic and uniformed groups on Sunday for the Remembrance Day Parade and wreath-laying service. Following the success of last year, we’re keeping the cosiness of our Christmas Present format, lots of people said it was just like going to a Christmas party! Launched in 2000 by local volunteers, the Cricklade Town Festival  is still going from strength to strength
Where else will you be able find a whole day filled with live music, dancers, street entertainers, magicians and children’s entertainers – without having to spend a penny!

A Very Cricklade Christmas on Saturday 1st. December 2012 from 6.30pm. in the High Street – Father Christmas is arriving.

Father Christmas will be arriving in Cricklade on Saturday December 1st after the Switching on the Lights, singing with the 4/4 Community Choir and Cricklade’s own Silver Band. There will be lots of fun and festivities.

The Cricklade Band – Autumn Table Top Sale – Sat. 17th. November 2012 at The Club, High Street 11.00 – 1.00pm.

The fundraising arm of The Cricklade Band – “The Crew” is holding an Autumn Table Top Sale on Saturday 17th November at The Club, High Street Cricklade from 11.00am to 1.00pm. Famous cake array, tea, coffee, the new CD album “Playtime” and a raffle.
