Tickets are now on sale for Oscar winning ‘The Artist’ showing at Cricklade Town Hall on Tuesday, 16th October.

Doors open at 8pm. It starts at 8.15pm and admission is £4, or £10 for a season ticket, which also covers The Woman In Black on November 13 and Best Exotic Marigold Hotel on December 11. Tickets are available from Baileys Newsagents and the Town Council offices.

Swindon Film Society Festival starts today in a few hours time at Swindon Dance Theatre

Just a few hours to go to the start of the Festival!
Two films tonight at Swindon Dance Theatre celebrate the comic actor and director Jacques Tati
Tati’s directoral debut JOUR DE FETE is at 6:00pm and the Oscar nominated animation THE ILLUSIONIST is at 8:00 pm.
Tickets sales for both are good, but there should be some available on the… door if you just turn up.

The King’s Speech is coming to Cricklade Cinema at Cricklade Town Hall

A Season of films is brought to Cricklade Town Hall by Swindon Film Society  .

Friday 18th. February CRAZY HEART – 112 mins, Cert 15.

Saturday 9th AprilTHE KING’S SPEECH – 118 mins, Cert 12A.

Colin Firth, Helena Bonham-Carter and Geoffrey Rush star in this fascinating, moving story about the relationship that developed between England’s King George VI, plagued by a nervous stammer, and his irreverent Australian speech therapist.

Films start at 7:45 pm – Admission £4 (£3 concessions).

Film night at the Cricklade Town Hall

The  Cinema comes to Cricklade Town Hall.

A special screening of a new film, From Time to Time, starring Dame Maggie Smith and Timothy Spall will be shown at the Town Hall on Saturday, November 6.

The film is being presented by Swindon Film Society, in what is hoped will be the first of a regular film programme in Cricklade.

 
The show starts at 7.30 pm and tickets cost £4 for adults, £3 for concessions and £2 for children, who must be accompanied by an adult. They will be available on the door from 7pm or in advance from Bailey’s Newsagents.
