Transition Town Cricklade
Cricklade CAN! are currently investigating the project of becoming a “Transition Town”. This worldwide grassroots initiative builds communities’ resilience and sustainability in preparation of the event of soaring fuel prices (due to Peak Oil) and/or Climate Change (due to Global Warming). Such projects focus on securing local food supplies, improving public transport links, saving energy, using alternative energy sources, sharing skills and resources and many more aspects. We hope this will be of interest to many of the existing Cricklade community groups, activities and venues.
Please have a look at photos of Cricklade CAN!’s activities on Facebook – No need to log in.!/group.php?gid=251615202405
